Maths tutor in Dubai, online and 1-on-1

A maths tutor in Dubai costs AED 100 to 250 an hour at home and AED 60 to 150 at a tuition centre, and most of that price is the car journey or the premises, not the teaching. Online, one-to-one, on a shared whiteboard, the same teaching costs about AED 37 to 48, and the child gets something a home tutor cannot give: the recording of every class, and a tutor chosen for the board rather than for the neighbourhood.

Our maths tutors hold master's degrees in mathematics and teach one board per student: CBSE and ICSE in the NCERT order, IGCSE and A-level to the Cambridge or Edexcel specification, IB MYP and Diploma (AA and AI), and the American curriculum through Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus. The class is a short recap, the new idea on the board, guided practice where the tutor watches every line, and the school's own homework. Parents get the recording and a note after every class.

Knowledge base

Dubai families ask

1How much does a maths tutor cost in Dubai?
A home tutor in Dubai typically charges AED 100 to 250 an hour and a tuition centre AED 60 to 150 for group classes. Our online 1-on-1 classes are about AED 37 to 48 an hour with a master's-qualified tutor, the recording of every class and marked homework included, billed monthly with no package.
2Which boards do your maths tutors teach?
CBSE and ICSE, Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE and A-level, IB MYP and Diploma (AA and AI, SL and HL), and the American curriculum including AP Calculus and AP Statistics. One board per student, in the school's order, with a tutor who teaches that board every week.
3Is an online maths tutor as good as a home tutor in Dubai?
For a child from about age 8, yes, and in two ways better: on a shared whiteboard the tutor sees every line the child writes, and every class is recorded so the parent can watch it. A home tutor in Dubai is chosen from who lives nearby; an online tutor is chosen for the board and the level.
4Can you help a child who has just moved to Dubai?
This is one of the commonest reasons families come to us. A child arriving from a CBSE school in India into a British or IB school, or the other way, has gaps that are not about ability but about order: topics taught in a different year. We map what the child has done against the new school's syllabus and fill the gaps first.
5What time are classes for families in Dubai?
The UAE is 1.5 hours behind India all year, so 4 to 7 pm in Dubai is 5:30 to 8:30 pm in Chandigarh: ordinary working hours for our tutors, with weekend mornings (Friday and Saturday in the UAE) as Indian late mornings. No midnight shifts, no tired tutor.
6How much does it cost?
About AED 37 to 48 an hour (US$10 to $13), for a live 1-on-1 class with a master's-qualified tutor, the recording of every class, notes and marked homework included, billed monthly with no package and no contract. Dubai tuition centres publish AED 60 to 150 an hour for CBSE subjects and home tutors AED 100 to 250; the full comparison is on the pricing page.
7Is the first class free?
Yes. A 30-minute 1-on-1 lesson on the whiteboard in maths or science, at your after-school time, in English, Hindi or Punjabi. Parents sit in. After it we send a short plan and the exact rate, and you decide. No card, no obligation.
8Do you follow the school's book or NCERT?
Both, in this order: the NCERT chapter the school is on, in the school's sequence, with the school's own worksheets and the CBSE sample-paper pattern from Class 9. Where the school runs ahead of NCERT (many Dubai schools do in maths), we follow the school.
