Australia is the easiest country in the world to tutor from India, and almost nobody says so: 4 pm in Sydney is 11:30 am in Chandigarh, so an Australian after-school class is an Indian late morning, the middle of our tutors' working day, with no midnight shifts and no tired tutor. What Australian families usually find instead is a marketplace where the tutor changes and the method is Indian, or a local agency at A$60 to A$90 an hour.
This is the other kind: a small team of master's-qualified women teachers in Chandigarh, the same tutor every week, teaching your child's own Australian Curriculum year level, then the senior certificate your state uses, in the order the school and the syllabus authority use. Every class is one tutor with one child on a shared whiteboard: a five-minute recap, the new topic with diagrams, guided practice, then notes, an assignment and the recording. Before NAPLAN and the selective tests we switch to the real formats, and in Years 11 and 12 to past papers marked to the state's marking guidelines.

Daylight saving (October to April in NSW, Victoria, SA, Tasmania and the ACT) moves the Indian side one hour earlier. Perth is only 2.5 hours ahead of India; Brisbane does not change clocks. Each Australian city page has a planner.

The reason an Indian maths tutor fails an Australian child is not the maths; it is the order and the tests. The Australian Curriculum runs number, algebra, measurement, space, statistics and probability side by side every year, NAPLAN tests reasoning in words as much as arithmetic, and the senior certificates mark working as well as answers. Our tutors hold master's degrees in their subject and have taught the Australian sequence since 2018, so your child is taught the school's method first, in the syllabus's vocabulary, and stretched only after the class work is secure.

Families who want the depth of an Indian maths education without the child being taught methods the school does not use. We teach the school's method first, then the stretch, and Hindi or Punjabi if you want the language kept.
Most Australian families who come to us are not Indian; they want a qualified 1-on-1 teacher for maths, chemistry or physics, weekly, without the agency's price. The class is in English; the tutor's accent is the only thing that is Indian about it.
Every class is recorded and the recording is yours. Parents can sit in on any class. The tutor never contacts the child outside the class. Nothing is paid up front; the first class is free and you decide afterwards.
Indian-Australian families ask us a version of the same question: the child is doing well at school, but the cousins in Hyderabad are two years ahead in maths, so is the school too easy, or is the comparison wrong? Both, usually. The Australian Curriculum goes slower in arithmetic and faster in reasoning, data and written explanation, and a child who is top of a Year 4 class is being measured on exactly the thing an Indian class barely tests. So we do not teach an Australian child the CBSE syllabus. We teach the school's work to a very high standard, then add the Indian stretch where it helps: harder problems on the same topic, the Australian Mathematics Competition, the OC and selective papers, mental arithmetic, and the habit of showing every step.
The rest is practical. Classes are in English, with Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu or Tamil conversation if the family wants the language kept alive, ten minutes at the end of a class (Hindi and Punjabi with our own tutors; for Telugu and Tamil we say so honestly if we cannot staff it). Grandparents in India can sit in, because the tutor is in India too. And when the family spends the December holidays in India, nothing stops: the same tutor, the same whiteboard, Indian times for six weeks, then back to the Australian schedule.
