1-on-1 online tutors for Rio de Janeiro students
Science with Shobha teaches Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English to school students in Rio de Janeiro through live, one-tutor-one-child online classes. Lessons follow the BNCC or the American, British and IB programmes of international schools, so what your child learns with us is exactly what is tested at school.
Rio de Janeiro is 8½ hours behind Chandigarh (India Standard Time) right now. Brazil is 8.5 hours behind India — Brazilian afternoons are late evenings in Chandigarh, and mornings work well for younger children.
Families in Rio, Niterói and Barra da Tijuca who search for a maths tutor near them usually want three things a local tutor rarely gives: a qualified teacher rather than a student, a time that works after school, and the class recorded so the parent can see it. That is what an online 1-on-1 class with a master's-qualified tutor is, in English, on the international, IB or American curriculum the school follows, at Brazilian after-school times.
