CBSE Class 9 online tuition in Dubai, 1-on-1
Class 9 is where the CBSE board pattern begins: the annual exam is set on the full syllabus in the board's format (multiple choice, assertion-reason, case-study and long-answer questions), and the Class 10 book assumes every Class 9 chapter. Dubai CBSE schools run the year from April to March with pre-boards in January, so the syllabus has to be finished by December, not March.
Our Class 9 classes teach each chapter before the school reaches it and practise it in the board's format from the first term, one tutor with one child on a shared whiteboard: the recap, the new chapter with diagrams, guided practice, then notes, an assignment and the recording. The maths tutor holds a master's in mathematics; science is split between a physics-chemistry tutor and a biology tutor, the way the school splits it.

Dubai families ask
1Do you teach in the CBSE exam pattern from Class 9?
Yes. Every chapter ends with the board's question types (MCQ, assertion-reason, case-study, 2-, 3- and 5-mark questions) from the CBSE sample papers and previous years' Class 9 school papers, marked to the marking scheme, so the annual exam in March is a format the child has seen thirty times.
2My child's school finishes the Class 9 syllabus by December. Can you keep up?
That is the normal Dubai timetable and the reason we teach a chapter before the school does rather than after. From April we run a chapter every two to three weeks in maths and science, which finishes the syllabus in December with January for revision and the pre-board.
3What time are classes for families in Dubai?
The UAE is 1.5 hours behind India all year, so 4 to 7 pm in Dubai is 5:30 to 8:30 pm in Chandigarh: ordinary working hours for our tutors, with weekend mornings (Friday and Saturday in the UAE) as Indian late mornings. No midnight shifts, no tired tutor.
4How much does it cost?
About AED 37 to 48 an hour (US$10 to $13), for a live 1-on-1 class with a master's-qualified tutor, the recording of every class, notes and marked homework included, billed monthly with no package and no contract. 5Is the first class free?
Yes. A 30-minute 1-on-1 lesson on the whiteboard in maths or science, at your after-school time, in English, Hindi or Punjabi. Parents sit in. After it we send a short plan and the exact rate, and you decide. No card, no obligation.
6Do you follow the school's book or NCERT?
Both, in this order: the NCERT chapter the school is on, in the school's sequence, with the school's own worksheets and the CBSE sample-paper pattern from Class 9. Where the school runs ahead of NCERT (many Dubai schools do in maths), we follow the school.
