CBSE online tuition for Class 11, 1-on-1 from India, in the school's order

Class 11 is where the CBSE course stops being a school course. Physics opens with units, vectors, kinematics and the laws of motion, and most children have never seen calculus-based reasoning; chemistry opens with the mole concept, atomic structure and the first organic chemistry; maths with sets, relations and functions, trigonometry and the binomial theorem; biology with a volume of detail no earlier class prepared for. The Indian schools abroad teach it at the pace of their JEE and NEET aspirants, and the Class 11 marks do not count for the board, which is exactly why the gaps go unnoticed until Class 12.

Our Class 11 classes are taught by subject specialists, one per subject, each with a master's in it: physics and chemistry by the physics-chemistry tutors, maths by the mathematics tutors, biology by the biology tutor. Each class teaches the NCERT chapter a step ahead of the school, in the school's order, with the derivations done on the whiteboard and the numericals worked, and the Class 12 board and the entrance exam planned together so that neither is dropped. In your time zone, with longer weekend sessions.

what changes

🧭 What changes in Class 11

  • Questions come from the idea, not from the solved examples
  • Physics needs vectors and the start of calculus in the first term
  • Chemistry numericals: the mole concept decides the year
  • School tests are set at Class 12 board standard from the first unit test

Commerce-stream maths (Applied Mathematics) is taught on request.

Knowledge base

Parents abroad ask about Class 11

1My child scored 90 per cent in Class 10 and is failing Class 11 physics. Is that normal?
It is the most common Class 11 call we get, and it is normal. Class 10 physics is descriptive; Class 11 physics is vectors, calculus-style reasoning and multi-step numericals, and the school moves at JEE pace. Six to eight weeks of 1-on-1 on kinematics and the laws of motion, done properly, usually turns it around, because the problem is the jump, not the child.
2Should we prepare for JEE or NEET alongside Class 11?
If the child wants to, yes, and the foundation is the same NCERT syllabus done deeply, which is what the classes do. We do not run a separate coaching course; we teach the chapter to the depth the entrance exam needs when the family wants that, and to the board's depth when they do not. The decision can wait until the first term's results.
3Which subjects do you teach for Class 11?
Physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology, each by a specialist, plus English. Accountancy, economics and business studies are not our subjects.
4Who is CBSE online tuition from India for?
Indian families abroad whose child is on the CBSE syllabus: in the Indian schools of the Gulf (the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain), at the CBSE schools in Singapore and Malaysia, and NRI families in the US, the UK, Canada and Australia keeping CBSE alongside the local school for a return to India. The child gets what a child in India would get after school: the NCERT chapter the school is on, taught properly, 1-on-1, with the board pattern from Class 9.
5Do you follow NCERT and the school's order?
Yes. The NCERT chapter the school is on, in the school's own sequence, with the school's worksheets, and the CBSE sample-paper pattern from Class 9. Many Indian schools abroad run ahead of NCERT in maths and finish the book by December; we follow the school, not the book.
6What does it cost, in my currency?
US$10 to $13 an hour, billed monthly in your currency with no package and no contract: about AED 37 to 48, OMR 4 to 5, QAR 37 to 47, KWD 3 to 4, SAR 38 to 49, BHD 3.8 to 4.9, S$13 to S$17, RM 42 to RM 55, Β£8 to Β£10, C$14 to C$18 or A$14 to A$19. A master's-qualified tutor, the recording of every class, notes and marked homework included.
7What time are classes?
In your time zone. The Gulf is 1.5 to 2.5 hours behind India, so 4 to 7 pm there is an ordinary Indian evening and the same tutor stays all year; Singapore and Malaysia are 2.5 hours ahead, an Indian afternoon; the UK is an Indian late evening; the US and Canada get 7 am before school, after 4 pm and weekend mornings from our early-morning tutors.
8Is the first class free?
Yes. A 30-minute 1-on-1 lesson on the whiteboard on the chapter the school is on this week, at a time in your time zone, with you in the room. After it we send a short plan that names the gap and the exact rate, and you decide. No card, no obligation.
9Who are the tutors?
A team of 20+ women educators, each with a master's degree in her subject, who taught CBSE in India before teaching online, teaching from Chandigarh since 2018 in English, Hindi or Punjabi. Every class is recorded and the recording is yours; parents are welcome in every class; the tutor never contacts the child outside the class.
